FAQ
How accurate is this? Where does the data come from?
Every tool page states its method. The lunar calendar, stems and branches, and solar terms are computed with astronomical algorithms standardised in GB/T 33661-2017 (implemented in the open-source lunar-javascript library), so results are reproducible and verifiable. Element cycles and nayin come from fixed reference tables you can check line by line.
Is this fortune telling? Does it predict the future?
No. This only computes traditional rules — it derives the stems, branches, elements and nayin, and predicts nothing. Tarot, lot drawing and daily fortune are excluded because they would require inventing results.
Should I base decisions on the output?
No. Chinese metaphysics is cultural and folkloric, with no scientific basis. It is a doorway into traditional culture, not a basis for decisions.
